Rodent Control In Hot Springs, AR

Protecting Your Hot Springs Home From The Threat Of A Rodent Infestation

Pests of any kind are unwelcome in your house, but some are more problematic than others. Rodents are one of the worst pests to get in your Hot Springs home, and they’re also one of the most common home invaders in our area. With their ability to spread diseases and their penchant for chewing on whatever they can get their teeth on, if you end up with rodents in your house, you can be sure that you’ll experience problems of one kind or another.

Getting rid of a rodent infestation can be tricky since they usually nest in out-of-the-way locations around your home, they are cautious by nature, and they breed rapidly. Getting them out of your house completely and making sure they can’t get back in takes the skill of someone who understands rodent behavior, has experienced similar situations before, and has the tools necessary to take care of the problem. The technicians at Advanced Pest Control all fulfill this role.

Rodent Control From Advanced Pest Control

There are three primary steps in Advanced Pest Control’s rodent control service: Rodent identification, habitat elimination, and rodent relocation. By completing all three steps, we will eliminate your rodent infestation and ensure it doesn’t return.

Identifying the species of rodent on your property is the first step in the process. We’ll visit your home to complete a paid service call. If you choose to continue services with us, we’ll apply the initial fee to your treatment costs.

Once we know what type of rodent is in your house, we’ll identify the entry points they are using to get inside. We then move to the second step of our rodent control, which is habitat elimination. We’ll perform exclusion work to seal off the entry points, preventing entry and exit. If squirrels are the identified rodent, we’ll install one-way doors until they have all exited your home before sealing off the entry points.

Finally, we move to the rodent relocation step. Squirrels will leave your house on their own through one-way doors. For rats and mice, we’ll set traps and check them weekly for a month. We’ll then place your home on a baiting/trapping program that includes quarterly check-ups. Rodent control is a year-long contract that you can renew at the end of the year.
